Leroy M. "Roy" Cox (1906–1981) was the founder of L.M. Cox Manufacturing Co., the company that produced Cox model engines making them the most common 1/2A Class 0.049 cubic inch engine in the world. It was a world of making, fixing and doing to fly a model aircraft with guide wires. Leroy Cox built a culture that dreamed about flying and being free.
