There is a sudden rise of celebrities and organizations proclaiming Jesus. We are hearing "God is moving" more and more. There is no doubt God will use whoever and whatever to move us to Jesus. However, it is not the performer or the idol. The institutions behind these celebrity idols are using Jesus as a brand. The question is why and what they are gaining? Jesus is not a show, nor is he a branding tool. Many are seeking... Few will find.

Romans 8:28 comes to mind. Good show and the topic needs to be discussed. We aren’t surface children of God and Jesus didn’t perform he spoke truth then and now, if you’ll listen. He said it best in John 14:6 Lord willing, this message draws people to Him. May those who speak the name of Jesus in song reduce and elevate ✝️His Holy name. I almost don’t know what to say (for once!). What a great podcast, Scott. Thank you. So necessary. Whatever the motives behind all that is going on, and now I see Trump wants America to be One Nation under God again, apparently. We need to pray for discernment with everything we see and hear - because a Nation under God will be known by its FRUITS, not by empty words. And so far, many have tasted the fruits and found them bitter, empty promises.
