3/3 I don’t fully understand how we can fix our system and I understand that government can inflate the cost of healthcare but I guess I just don’t understand why our costs are so much higher than countries that have government run healthcare systems.

2/3 treatments that are not necessary, just to get paid more. They also have far lower costs of treatments than the US does. I needed to get an ultrasound when I was there and I had no coverage. I was worried about what it would cost me but it ended up costing 20 euros. That included an appointment with a doctor. An ultrasound out of pocket in the US costs hundreds. We need to get our costs under control

1/3 While I do not agree with government run healthcare at all. We do not have the best system since it is 💯 profit run. High profile wealthy people can come to the US for procedures that are not approved or there’s a long wait in places like Canada but an average individual can’t. I have some experience with Spain’s healthcare system and just knowing that doctors are salaried (whether that is right or wrong can be a different discussion) they are not doing too many surgeries and pushing...
