I opened to Matthew 10 last week and began reading out loud and tears started flowing, I felt like I was speaking right to Jesus, he showed up tangibly in my car. I didn’t know exactly why, I just knew I felt him at that time. So glad you are being directed there also

Amazing comments BardsFam. So I’ve been noticing I complain a little too much lately (out loud to myself and to Jesus) and have been working on being better about it. My success rate is lackluster.

I finally “concede” and say “King, I need your help with this one. I need your help to be more accepting of, and to lower my expectations of others. I’ve been trying to do it this on my own but I think I really need your help.” My broken mentality: do it by my own will. Our King’s response: “you’re not supposed to do anything without Me.”

Oh yeah, that’s right. I knew that. But I still chose to act on my own - why? Probably because I want to be strong and don’t want to bother our King with every obstacle I face. He wants us to bother Him with every obstacle. That’s the point. He wants to help us help ourselves. That’s my reminder and lesson for the day. Let go and let God.

I’m surprised you receive negative comments regarding Brad’s presentation. These are some of my favorite conversations to listen to as I find them extremely thought provoking. Sorry, though, I always have to listen after the fact (not live).
