Excellent ! Takes me back to the County Fair in Wisconsin and my grandfather and his brother had one of the old Steam Engines that a group of men had rescued, rebuilt and raced on a dirt track at the fair... a free event for all to enjoy and then the children could climb into the Engines and get a ride when the race was over.

This was the best show. I’ve always been afraid of heights too, but still would face those fears & go on the Ferris wheel. I live in WI, so we have the state fair every year, well until this last year with the shut downs of everything. 😞 Anyway they are always the best & I can’t imagine being back in that time. I’ve always wondered what it might have been like. It was fun to go there, while you told the story. Oh & the drive with the fam was a great memory. You made me smile.

My 8th grade history project was a needlepoint of the Ferris Wheel at Chicago's World Fair. How exciting you highlighted it tonight. Very interesting show.
