Helpful gardening tip, especially for small gardens, is to always rotate your crops each year to preserve the soil quality. Also, planting tip: used coffee grounds mixed with egg shells👍 ....makes for some nice Tomate-rs 🍅 😜

Apartment/townhome dwellers...check with your city on available Community Personal Garden Plot rentals.  Many cities have land set aside for this.  For example, my town offers a 15 × 20 open plot for $25 per year.  Included us a soil till in the spring and the fall.   And believe me, with a little experience under your belt, and being open to  trying new ideas, you can harvest ALOT of produce in that small space! 😊🌱

Thank you for the Gardening Guide! So far in my wee starter kit I have some bulbs planted, cherry tomatoes, romaine & gourmet blend lettuce, winter squash, carrots, green beans, and garlic chives all growing! I a 3/4 yr beginner LOL. Scott, thank you for all you do!! Standing boldly 🙏🏻✌🏻❤️

Learn how to grow veggies all year around. I live in zone 7 almost zone 6, I was able to successfully grow all year, even in dead of winter. Our winters can be very cold and frozen. There are several great resources in book form. My #1 reccomendation: "The Winter Harvest Handbook" by Eliot Coleman. Plan ahead and always have extra to share, or trade, seeds, seedlings, and veggies. God bless

Learn about canning, fermenting, and dehydrating. Nothing should be grown for just the season but to sustain ourselves throughout.

What an amazing resource you and your team have put together! God has been leading many of us in the same direction. I am part of a ministry called Agape Life Gardens in Southern Alabama. We help build commnity gardens. We teach people how to become more self reliant in growing their own food. We integrate that with biblical principles.
