I'm 34 and learned about them in school, don't remember how far in depth we went, but I remember learning about them, there are a few things they don't teach now that they did when I was in school like the trail of tears for example, maybe we just need to bring it back into the curriculum, or maybe it was just the school I went to, either way, it definitely needs to be mainstream in every school, thankfully it isn't lost information!!

Outstanding episode of BardsFM - I once again state that I wish I would have learned about the Federalist Papers decades ago, I’m embarrassed to admit that I did not learn of them until about 4 years ago at the beginning of President Trump’s first term. I suspect that this segment of our history was intentionally omitted from our education curriculum unless one studied American Constitutional History in secondary education. This should be mandatory beginning at the middle school level.
