The children beg on the road broke my heart. When Obama ‘removed’ the Iraqi troops they did so in a way that mirrored the removal from the Persian gulf war and again my heart broke.

When we were being briefed prior to our convoy into Iraq in 2003 e we were told the first city we would enter was Safwan. We would see only women and children there and were not to throw our God least we receive a grenade in reply. They said in the Persian gulf war we had left them saying that we would protect them and take care of them. Leaving them alone the men were slaughtered and the women all raped. The children and women of the town were the product of those previous actions. Watching...
