Covid showing up again (the new strain) everyone that had a shot is no longer able to be happy anymore. The fear is real.

The churches used to take care of the needy, without them having to ask. We all know someone who is in need. It's the perfect time to witness to them. Not just ppl in church, but in the community. We should be going out from the church, not to go rat lunch, and be served, but to go out and serve others. I am so guilty of not doing that myself. We can take groceries to needy ppl. Visit the lonely. Lots of things.

Fancy music to get the adrenaline going like that was the Holy Spirit that prepared ppl to worship God. Instead, everyone should sing, everyone should be involved in the service. Ask questions, be included in conversation in the service. The pastor should preach, but ppl should be able to ask questions or concerns. Instead we sit there as an audience and are silent. Am I wrong? And we give to orphans. Our 10% can do that. Pay for someone's meal, feed the hungry, cloth the poor, the widow, etc

I totally agree on the 501c3. We can give our 10% to help ppl in need. Not to keep the lights on in the Church. I would rather be under a tent for Church or outside. Yes, we need to support our pastor but they should also work just like the disciples. They were always fed by the ppl and stayed in houses with the ppl. They always had what they needed. God always supplied what they needed. Now its fancy suits, programs, unnecessary things. The flock took care of them before. They gathered in home

I never report my giving on my taxes ! I give to my fellowship or other charity as I feel led!

I finally did a My Pillow, order! Slippers, pillows, topper, towels, 2 sheets!

Chuck Baldwin did an article about churches and 501 status. Basically, they have given the authority over from Christ to the government.
