The rulers and elders commanded them not ro tell of Jesus. The parallel here is the same thing we hear today. People like politicians, governor's, mayors tell Christians the same thing. Christians are like scared sheep. Many Christians become cowards. Christians who are told take the vaccine, to wear a mask, to take advantage of people for money. Sincere prayers urgently needed for an avid follower in Australia who had an accident today and is now in total isolation in hospital, because she refused the test and the vaccine. Totally alone. Can't move. No visitors allowed. 83 years old. In pain. They won't operate until she's been in isolation for min 2 weeks. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you ♥

Tolkien knew. His battle displayed between Sauron and middle earth and the ring carried by humble hobbits is very metaphorical of the spiritual war. CS Lewis knew too if you read Narnia or Screwtape he captures it

Truly. We are born Image bearers designed to be fruitful and multiply. That multiplication is born out of being strong and courageous and bearing whatever fruit God has called us to bear. That might be evangelism or it might be waking up the church or whatever it is God has gifted us as individuals.

I love this episode. No standing around waiting. It could be tomorrow, it could be twenty years from now. But we are called to share His light with the world! Let’s get to work, Christians! There’s hardship to prepare for and souls who need to have the way pointed out. Boom. Love it.
