Father, we know as Christ was riding into the Holy City, He knew His fate. Despite the waving of palm branches & hearing shouts of “Hosanna!”, He continued with accomplishing Your will. He obediently & peacefully walked to the cross after shouts of “Hosanna” turned into “Crucify Him!”. While the crowd expected one thing from Him, You expected something different. Thank you for making Him something He wasn’t, so we could be something we aren’t. Amen

I was thinking it's easy for me to say I would not take the shot so far I haven't been faced with that decision but I would hope if it meant losing my job which is a great job that I would not take it. I don't know if those of us that say we wouldn't take it really wouldn't just trying to reason that out without actually being faced with having to do it at this time. I thought about that when people were getting their heads chopped off by ISIS would I renounce the Lord I would hope not.

Our pastor spoke on Exodus 32, where the Israelites get tired of waiting on Moses, turn their backs on God, and make the golden calf. It got me thinking about how we've been feeling abandoned and how easily we could turn our backs on God, too, and turn to idols. Stay strong, friends, and focus our eyes on God alone! "Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, Faithful in Love. My debt is paid and the victory won. The Lord is my Salvation!"🎶✝️
