My observation & understanding thru His Word: Tithing is an act of worship, acknowledging that everything good that we have comes from God. He doesn't need our money but cheerfully giving reflects our trusting Him fully. We are to faithfully steward what God places in our care (including kids, work, etc)

Thank you Scott. I wish I could reach through to my sons through their hearts with prayer. I have prayed for them but still they think my beliefs are delusional and that I’m “making myself sick” with my thoughts and what I listen to and who I hang out with on the internet. They want me to accept that I’m sick and go into the hospital for help. Because I am bipolar (take my meds faithfully btw) they can invalidate my beliefs and my convictions. It’s heartbreaking and crazy making and I ask for prayers for us
