Actually Scott Sir everyone misunderstands the ‘but now’ of Luke 22:36 buy a sword. When Paul uses ‘sword’ at the end of Romans 8 he’s referring to war but Jesus is not joking in Luke 22:36 he’s changing the apostles mindset they are to be both warriors literally for Christ and healers, literal warriors and healers. The problem with Christians today is they don’t understand what ‘but now’ means, oh they do when they say it but they think it was different when Christ used it.
