This is why the Chinese people prayed for persecutions for the American Church. For years the warriors wept, while America became complacent and closed her ears to any truth she didn't want to hear, like an impudent, rebellious child, chasing every distraction and pleasure the enemy fangled before her. Persecutions turn the true sons back to the Father; persecutions get rid of the chaff, the phony; persecutions bring God's people to light and glory; it causes the children to seek Father's face.
