Veterans are celebrated as messianic figures on Veterans Day, yet their lived experiences of trauma and moral injury are ignored. This "empire of sacrifice" allows the public to remain detached from the real human and societal costs of war.

Here in Wales Rugby is a National , even though the glory days of Welsh rugby are long gone. When Wales is playing the Nation gathers in pubs, homes and stadiums, wearing the National Colors and waving the flag. And will brook no criticism of an unfit overweight team who survive only because they are idolised. It’s a generational thing, Wales still remembers the good old days when theirs was a team to be feared. I see the same pattern playing out in America now your country is at war. The only way to break the pattern, imho, is to refuse to play any part in their game. That is the narrow gate, which few are willing to find. Walking a different WAY is never easy but it’s an ancient path, and you will find rest for your souls. God will be with you. And you have Jesus as your guide. 🙏✝️⚔️💖
