Building a relationship with Christ is central to our walk in Faith. That necessitates our deeper understanding of the role of the pastor as both shepherd and steward. In the modern version of Christianity these roles and responsibilities are too often lost. The Pastor has become the "way" of understanding the word, rather than the builder of disciples. The relationship with Christ does not require a translator; it is rooted in the gift of wisdom given by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. That is the root of being 'reborn."

Most scholars agree it was at least partially edited by later Christian scribes, but many also believe there was an original core reference to Jesus that Josephus wrote.
