What has become of the Christian Faith? How is it that judgement and hubris have become a defining element of a proclamation of walking with Jesus, when Jesus was about love and forgiveness? The modern church has become the Temple of Jesus's time. Too many live by Jesus by name, not Jesus by life. The letter of the law kills; the word becomes a weapon to shame rather than heal and restore. The indwelling of Christ within us builds a spirt of forgiveness and love. Love is the mightiest of swords. Seek the Way of Christ. There is no pew when following his path.

I absolutely resonated with your message today. I have been on this journey since leaving the church in 2018 for several different reasons. Thank you for following the Holy Spirit’s leading and addressing the most recent wounds in a firm and appropriate manner. I have followed you for many years and went through many of your transitions, sometimes having to back away for a time, one of them being the 2023 Bards Fest and the take over I felt was present.
