After 208-years of legacy, the Farmers Almanac will publish its last issue in 2026. It is a reflection of how far we have moved away from the root of what our country was built on: simplicity, sustainability and connection to nature. A nation that began with roots in the earth literally, has migrated to cubicles, black mirror devices and the American Dream being translated wealth accumulation by any means. Our mission must include passing on the legacy and passion of going back to the land. It is there that we find God, a living relationship with Christ and the root of daily miracles.

Thank you Scott - I really believe that, although we will sadly not be able to make the choices for others, many will build communities and come together to find the joy in living on the land. I know my own experience, hill farming with an alcoholic husband wasn’t easy but there was joy every day in some way with either chickens, ducks, sheep or especially lambs. Jeremiah six sixteen - no promise of rest for our bodies, but we will find rest in our souls. 🙏✝️⚔️🔥💖
