Chhurches put a time limit on the working of the Holy Spirit and how to study the Bible. No matter how long it takes on Sunday. And it should be called SON-day, not SUN-day. Because it's his day. I've been in a home study with 10 ppl and we would study verse by verse, along with other Scripture, and didn't stop until whenever the Spirit was done. Sometimes 4 hrs. Sometimes 5-6 hrs. And everyone participated. We discussed what the Word said regarding different things. I loved it.

I think that most churches don't teach ppl how to be disciples. Instead, most listen to one man that preaches, in limiting the time for sermons, without the ability to ask questions while he's preaching. We sit in the pew and just listen and wait for time after 30-40 minutes, and go straight a restaurant to eat. There needs to be teaching after someone gets saved that a class or program to teach discipleship. I wasn't taught how to be a disciples and didn't really know I was supposed to be one.
