Great discussion. I know two things with certainty...There is a God, and I am not Him. We must learn to listen. Listening to a human expressing a different viewpoint is a show of respect for a fellow creation of God. Listening doesn't necessitate agreementz and disagreement doesn't necessitate nor indicate hatred. If any one of us would owned the entire Truth, we would BE God, and we are not. Intelligence is the ability to entertain a thought without necessarily agreeing.

Claiming omnipotence through arrogance or ignorance is hardly a Catholic OR Protestant trait, but a human trait, planted by the evil one. I heard the crack in your voice at how angry you are at Catholics, and I know it’s sincere. It pains me greatly to feel that hatred directed exactly and precisely at my heart, and the hearts of my brothers and sisters. We are not idiots. We are not blind. We trust in the Lord fully, WITH the help of men and women - His hands and feet.

People always ask why God allows all of this evil..... he's probably asking us the same thing.

Scott comments about unity between Protestants & Catholics yet speaks about how Catholics disgust him in their view of the Bible. Some of their reasons are necessary for discussions with those outside the Catholic Church. 2000 years ago Jesus prayed for unity of believers & unity begins with understanding. The understanding of the Church’s history & beliefs is essential in working toward that unity. You have embarrassed yourself again. I’m through with you.

We are afficted with original sin by the fall of Man which yes was a sexual sin by Eve and the archangel. Check out Rev Moon's Fall of Man. We need Christ to get rid of this original sin.
