I have worked front line grocery store for the last three years and have witnessed first hand the puzzling behavior of people. For the life of me I could not understand why people can’t, don’t, or won’t question and see what is really going on here. The doctor’s reference to the abusive relationship and resulting beliefs and behaviors makes it all clear to me now. I am witnessing the results of abuse. This helps me to put my frustration and sometimes anger in its place.

We are so willing to listen to the lies and take things as fact as opposed to seeing the truth in front of us! Makes so much sense of being forebrained from the outside. An abusive relationship we are so willing to stay in!
